Disha carries out its activities through seven programme units – Women Empowerment Unit, Education Unit, Livelihood Promotion Unit, Strengthening Grassroots Institutions Unit, Research Information and Training Unit, Dehradun Unit and Uttarkashi Unit. Each unit is headed by a Programme Coordinator. Research Information and Training Unit draws from the other programme units and contributes to them as well. The Support Unit comprises Accounts, Training Centre, Maintenance of Assets and Other Support Activities.
