Training is an integral part of the organisation’s working. They are organised for community members, organisation’s workers, other organisations’ workers, etc. Generally training for community members are organised at their respective villages while others are organised at the Training Centre. The training centre is also available for other organisations for holding their training and workshop. Every year a training calendar is prepared and training are organised as per this training calendar.
Some of the topics on which the organisation has acquired special skills in capacity building are: women empowerment, dealing with violence against women, micro-savings and credit, and communication. Expertise in imparting training on micro-savings and credit has attracted the attention of NABARD (National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development), which has engaged the organisation as training organisation for imparting training not only to voluntary organisations in Western Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, but also to bank officials in these two areas.
The organisation has full-fledged training wing proficient in imparting training on women’s issues, micro-savings and credit, communication and advocacy.
