Vocational Training and Enterprise Development

Goal

To improve life of the residents in the selected villages by broadening livelihood options so as to improve economic condition of the target populace

Activities

• Rapport building
• Formation of self help groups, their capacity building and linkages for credit
• Income generation activities
• Personality development and vocational training

Expected Outcomes

• 20 SHGs are formed in the villages
• Capacity of SHGs is built in group processes and financial management
• Loans/CCLs start accounting to SHGs for initiating income generation activities
• SHG members begin agriculture-based income generation activities
• Personality of 30 boys and girls is built by including soft skills amongst them and they are trained in different vocations
• After completion of training activities, the successful candidates get employment/set up their establishments
